The Baker�s Chemistry take on a classic fruit loaf. With no added sugar, the sweetness of the fruit really shines and keeps this loaf moist and light with a textural delight provided by the walnuts. Delicious served toasted with ricotta, cinnamon and honey.
Ingredients: Tapioca starch, rice flour, besan flour, flax seeds, psyllium husk, salt, yeast, olive oil, walnuts, figs, cranberry, chia seeds and raisins.
Sugar free, soy free, gums free, corn free, no preservatives or nasties, no nuts and wheat free.
Health benefits: Besan flour is an excellent source of protein, aids in digestion and helps to regulate blood sugar levels. Psyllium husk is high in fibre and can alleviate constipation. Flax seeds are an excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acids, can aid with lowering cholesterol and contain anti-inflammatory properties. Olive oil is an excellent antioxidant, is packed with polyphenols, promotes cardiovascular health and aids cognitive function. Walnuts and chia seeds are loaded with heart-healthy fats. Cranberries and raisins are high in antioxidants and figs are a great source of calcium and potassium.
